Using Water Hyacinth Plants For Handicrafts

The Water Hyacinth plant, which grows wild in lakes, rivers and swamps, can inhibit the growth of organism below it, if it is not monitored. Left unchecked the rapid growth results in ecological damage. The stems of the plant can be dried using natural methods and turned into a material used for making beautiful handmade baskets and other handicrafts.
